Patients are the motivation for our work. Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of care possible in a pleasant and comfortable environment. As a tertiary hospital and referral center, we are home to some of the most challenging and difficult medical problems patients experience and value you choosing us for your medical care.
We invite you to take an active role in your own care by:
As part of your visit, you will be asked to turn in your medical questionaire at the neuroscience clinic upon checking in. You will not be able to check in prior to this being completed and we ask that you please respect your fellow patients and help us minimize delays by completing this at home . Additionally, prior to your visit. please provide your most recent Xrays, CT scans, and MRI’s (on DICOM CD format) You will then be escorted to a consultation room and be asked to change into a gown to facilitate a detailed neurological examination. This is essential step to providing you with the highest care in that it allows for a comprehensive neurological assessment.
You will the be seen by a nurse practitioner who will review the questionaire and medical history you have provided and also perform a focused neurological examination. The nurse practitioner has advanced training and experience in the diagnosis and management of neurological disease and works very closely with Dr. Mindea.
Dr. Mindea will then review your diagnostic images and be provided details of your medical history (vis a visthe nurse practitioner) prior to seeing you.
Dr Mindea will then perform the full consultation and additionally review your diagnostic images (xray, CT, MRI) with you and determine a course of action. He will also address and concerns or questions you may have at that time.
If you have any questions regarding your diagnosis or treatment, or office policy and procedure, please call our office. Your call will be returned during our normal business hours.
